Warm note
Detailed version
First circle
People you want support from
A private message can be short and direct. You do not owe a detailed backstory in exchange for support.
Wider circle
People who need less detail
An expected season or no timing at all may be enough. Use a boundary if the news should not travel further yet.
Public circle
People beyond your recipient list
Before posting, check what the image, caption, tags and account settings reveal together. Text-only is a complete option.
Details are optional
Share the news without publishing the record
1. Choose the recipient before the wording
A partner, family group, workplace contact and public account do not need the same message.
2. Treat expected timing as optional
A season, month or date can be removed. This builder never turns an estimate into a promise.
3. Keep medical images separate
A scan, test photo or clinical document can reveal more than the caption. The tool accepts none of them.
4. Recheck the destination
A privacy request is useful but cannot prevent screenshots or forwarding. Check recipients and platform settings before sending.
If the journey carries remembrance
Mention only what belongs in this audience
Some families want to acknowledge a long wait or a previous loss; others do not want either experience named in the announcement. The optional line uses no label and discloses no event. It is a starting point, not counselling or a rule about how anyone should feel.
Keep the jobs separate
Pregnancy news is not every later announcement
Pregnancy announcement
Shares that a baby or babies are expected.
Gender reveal
A separate choice; this builder does not generate it.
Godh Bharai invitation
Invites people to an event with time and place.
Birth announcement
Shares the baby's arrival after birth.
Separate calculation
Estimate a due date
Use the calculator separately; this message builder imports no date.
Plan the gathering
Organise Godh Bharai
Build a family-first checklist without one universal ritual.
After the arrival
Write the birth announcement
Use a separate post-birth builder with name, detail and visitor choices.
Pregnancy announcement FAQs
What should a pregnancy announcement message include?
It can be as short as saying that you are expecting or that your family is growing. An expected month, season or date, sibling mention, backstory and photo are all optional. Share only what feels appropriate for that audience.
When should I announce my pregnancy?
This tool cannot choose a date for you, and it gives no medical timing threshold. You may tell different people at different times based on whom you want support from, what you prefer to keep private and any practical needs. Ask your qualified clinician when the decision depends on your individual pregnancy or medical information.
Can I make a pregnancy announcement without a scan, test photo or due date?
Yes. The builder accepts no images and can omit all expected-timing details. A complete text-only message can simply share that a baby is expected or that the family is growing.
Can it write a pregnancy announcement after loss?
The optional remembrance setting uses restrained wording that holds hope and remembrance together without naming a previous loss or applying a label. You can omit it completely or personalise the wording after copying.
Can I use the workplace version as formal notice?
No. It is only a personal announcement. It is not an HR, leave, policy or legal notice; follow your workplace process separately.
Does the builder support twins, multiples and older siblings?
Yes. Choose twins, more than two babies or an older-sibling mention. You can also leave the baby count unstated.
Does Babynama save my pregnancy announcement?
No. Every field is a fixed choice. The page has no name, due-date, photo, contact or free-text input, stores no selection or message, and does not put the result in the URL.
Sources and limits
Built from audience patterns—not copied captions
Sources checked 13 September 2026. Publisher and design pages informed the audiences, tones and formats people commonly look for; Babynama's sentence modules were written separately. CERT-In informed the reminder to check recipients and platform settings. This deterministic wording aid is not medical, legal, workplace, privacy, counselling or etiquette advice, and it cannot control a message after you copy it.
